Need Help VIN location
Ok I bought my son a 2005 f350 6.0 lariat. I was trying to find a computer for it but the vin number on the dash and door comes back as A 2005 single cab manual . Where else can I find a vin number on this truck to see if I can find out what this truck actually is .

the FICM should have the VIN on it. Passenger frame rail, about 12" behind the front cab mount
if you have a decent quality code reader, it will display the VIN as well when pulled from PCM
got any pictures? I'm curious what you have vs. what it says it is
