Actually, slotted rotors are pretty beneficial in any heavy braking application. It’s the crossdrilled rotors that are a little suspect for street applications.
I have had the power stop drilled and slotted on my truck for 10+ years with no cracking or anything of the rotor. Contrary to what most say about them on the forums. I would not worry you will be fine. I just recently swapped them when I did 08+ axle swap and rotors were still more then usable. Had 2 set of pads on them over the years. Put same ones on the new axles.
