Smoky

Hey y’all, I haven’t been on here in a very long time but I am at a loss and need help.

Truck is a ‘07. 204k miles. Fully bulletproofed with stage one garret powermax turbo and custom tunes( I only run it on the modified stock tune) it is not deleted but has bulletproof EGR. It recently got all new injectors, oil change and all filters changed just before moving from the central coast of Ca to Sandy Or. (about 45 min east of Portland). Long story short every time we start the truck it smokes. This has started since moving to the PNW. Outside temp doesn’t matter and cold start vs warm start doesn’t matter. Stiction makes the most sense except for the fact that it has new injectors. I have ran a bottle of hotshots secret through it with no change.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You need a scan tool that reads codes thoroughly and that reads engine PIDs. FORScan is the best and Torque Pro is good.

Also - where did you get the injectors?

Has the EGR valve ever been pulled and cleaned?

Hey thanks for the reply.

I do have SCT livewire and there are not codes. Please explain PIDs (again off of the forums for a long time and my acronym knowledge is not what they use to be haha) The injectors are FoMoCo from Ford. I have not pulled and cleaned the EGR valve recently.

thank you.

PID is Ford's Term for Parameter Identifier.

Also, SCT is known for not thoroughly pulling codes. That is why I mentioned the two that I did.

It would be good to see the Baro, EBP, and MAP sensor readings at KOEO.
