91 250 Radio help please
Digram or anything is appreciated.
I’m replacing a few fuses and I’m hoping that works ( one that I think is semi-related to radio function was blown)
The truck was converted to dual batteries (gas not diesel) and it seems when that conversion happened things like radio, windshield wipers, indoor lights, were sacrificed.
(note: this is first car I’ve ever worked on)
First you are going to need some testing tools
A test light that had the old bulb not the new LED ones.
A multi meter Volts / Ohm / Amps
You can get both at https://www.harborfreight.com/
Using the test light, 1 end to a good ground, check each fuse.
Note some may not have power till you turn on what they protect or the key is on.
You might get lucky it is a bad fuse or 2?
But my gut tells me it will be more than that maybe a fuse link that was not hooked back up or blew?
Tell us what you find with the test light and fuses and we will go from there.

I have a 1990
it will be close or the same maybe
That radio power should come from the ignition switch with another constant power feed for the memory
