Hi everyone, I have a 2018 ford f-150 lariat and my radio won’t turn on. I have tried all the restart variants, power and FF but it doesn’t come on, now the little blue lights around the usb ports for CarPlay light up when I restart the radio and they blink off then back on if I continue to press the buttons to hard restart the radio. I have no splash screen, no audio, nothing. I’ve checked the fuses and they are good, I even replaced them just in case. I do not have navigation but do have gps which also stopped working. My radio before it started not booting wouldn’t allow me to update it, tried over Wi-Fi and with usb to no avail. I’m wondering if anyone on here has any idea what could be the issue. Thank you!
update: if I pull the fuses and wait a couple of minutes then put them back in, start the truck and hold the power and FF buttons it comes back on. Im pretty sure that next start up it won’t come back on without me doing the hard restart a couple of times. What could possibly be wrong with it that requires me to pull the fuses each time to make it work?
