2024 Trailer TPMS Sensor
We have a 2024 F350. We tow a 5th wheel and a boat behind the 5th wheel. I would like to run the Ford TPMS system so I am running everything through my Ford screens. I do not want to run any 3rd party software or other displays.
I THINK the link below is what I need (system says it supports up to 12 tires), but I would also love to be able to run the trailer backup camera too.
Any experts here?
Edit... well the link did not work. Part number is PC3Z1A189J.

P/N PC3Z1A189J is the kit that you would get if you ordered Trailer TPMS with a new truck order. But it only includes the 4 wheel sensors (you can buy more individually) and it comes with the wireless module that communicates with tthe wheel sensors. NO HARNESS is included.
You will probably need to purchase a harness. You don't say what other trailer options you plan to buy with the truck, or maybe you already have the truck, so I cannot say for sure. Let's assume you don't already have any harnesses. Then you will need the "Base Trailer Harness". That would be either PC3Z-15A416-A or PC3Z-15A416-B. Harness ending in A includes connector for the Yaw sensor (needed if you have the pro backup **** on your dash) and harness B does not. Both harnesses support trailer TPMS and Trailer backup camera.
The backup camera kit including 49' wiring is P/N PC3Z-19G490C.
Point of info, your wheel sensors do not talk to the truck wirelessly. The sensors talk to the TPMS module that comes with the kit, and that module is hardwired back to the truck via 12 pin connector. The module gets mounted on your trailer.
Now, will this work for doubles towing? I don't know of course, but what I can tell you is that the harness gives you enough cable to place the TPMS sensor module close to the axles of any 5th wheel. But probably only forward of the axles. My fiver is only 29', and I think my module is mounted about 6' in fromt of the forward axle. The cable would not have reached back to between the axles even on my somewhat short trailer. So far it reads the sensors great. But would it read sensors back on a doubles towed boat? I kinda doubt it, just based on warnings like steel belted tires not working. Leaves me thinking it would be marginal. I think you can make this work if you make or buy an extension harness so that you could get the module toward the rear of your fiver. And I'll bet Nichols Manuf would be helpful with info and whatever parts you needed.
The camera won't be a problem. Just order the kit, or order it with the truck. But it's cheaper to buy it afterward.
I have the truck, so I am buying everything after. I do not have the pro trailer backup assist, but I do have the female connectors in the bed for the trailer camera and/or TPMS. I believe the TPMS is more valuable than the camera. I don't have plans to use it for backing up, but mostly for checking on the boat while going down the road. I can see all 4 tires on the boat trailer from my mirrors.
Giving Nichols a call is a good suggestion and I will act on that.
