Ford 4.6 Engine Swap
Just picked up a van that needs a new engine. Just wanted to confirm that a 4.6 from an 08 crown vic would swap over directly, and if not, which parts would need to be swapped over. Thanks!

Figured out it was originally a fleet vehicle, so no PATS and there was nothing flashing on the dash anyways for anti theft. Dug a little deeper and found spark, but no injector pulse. Eventually found a blown fuse and now have injector pulse showing on the noid light. Still no start though, so I started checking compression and it was all over the place. I think it must have jumped timing, maybe lack of maintenance?
I found a cheap, strong runner near me, so I’m thinking I’ll go that route at this point.

The minimum is throttle body and manifold adapter. The rest would be guesses on my part :/
Both have a 4R75E transmission or is the van a 5-speed? For the flex plate.

Will have to confirm on the donor, but van is an auto.
