Please help, really poor mpg plus codes

I used to be a member here when I had a 6.0 diesel🤣…could not remember my user name and my email has changed..anyway I have a 2012 f150 ecoboost, completely stock other than a catch can. It used to get 18ish mpg….lately have been getting crap fuel economy… 12.9 average. Keep getting codes p2096 and p2098 post catalyst lean bank 1 and 2. Truck has new plugs, coils, ecm, cats, Have removed and cleaned all 3 map sensors twice and valves have been chemically cleaned twice. I put a smoke machine in the tail pipe and can find no leaks on turbo or exhaust manifolds. I am at a loss and have spent a small fortune to still have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. I have forscan and a regular scanner and can get pid data as needed just not sure what I am looking for.

Sounds like you’re running rich and the computer is adjusting to the other extreme to save the engine.

You need access to a scanner that can check Mode 6 for misfires. With your listed mileage on your profile, I’m wondering if the timing chains are getting slack.

Post on the ‘09-14 subforum if you want more looks. These engine specific forums don’t usually get a lot of looks. Some do, but not this one.
