recommend steering box rebuilder?

Forty nine F1, my front susp seems tight, king pins good, tie rods ends good, drag length tight. wheel moves a total of about 4" -6" side to side before the pitman arm moves. anyone have a recommended box rebuilder? thanks, Dick R

My suggestion is to send a private message to BIGWIN56F100 (Kevin). I know he buys steering boxes for a rebuilder. So I'm reasonable sure he can give you the info you want.

well, yes I core the boxes to a guy who rebuilds them and modifies them. he is using the boxes for a different application. The ones he rebuilds never make their way back into a 53-60 ford truck.

I will reach out to see if he will supply rebuild parts.

when I core the boxes I disassemble each one and everyone I've ever taken apart is no good. Used boxes all need rebuilt. I take that back, I have had one that was great but it was probably recently rebuilt.
