I use a two bank Battery Tender, one for each battery, and the pig tails from the batteries are coming out from my grill openings. I then plug into the tender that way.
I mounted a NOCO brand battery trickle charger under the hood and then used their AC plug port NOCO remote plug under the passenger fog light. Makes it easy to plug in without opening the hood. I also have a "Y" adapter so I can also plug in the block heater when winter comes around.

I've done the same thing with a different brand, but I wish I would've bought a better quality receptacle (as the weather cap keeps popping open due to vibration). Mine was hooked up to a Victron battery charger, which has since been repurposed.
But, yeah, it's very handy. The hardest part was running the 110V extension up to the battery area. The drilling and mounting of the receptacle was straightforward, as it was just plastic to drill through.

good solutions. Thanks for information and additional confirmation of a good way to go. Especially like the NOCO link!
I found that the honeycomb openings in my grill are large enough to stick my fingers through to fish out the end of the plug. I tuck it back inside when not in use.
I probably should have some sort of cap on it. But the truck spends most of it's time in the garage when not in use. One of these days when time allows I'll investigate putting a plug in the plastic panel on one side or the other of the tow hooks. As sneil posted above, I don't have the option to do it where the fogs are on this 23 Tremor.
Great question, I’m thinking of mounting my Noco dual to the top of the big fuse box, plenty of room there. Not sure where else has enough room and access to the top controls? I’ll look at that more today.
Where did you all mount the NOCO charger in the engine bay?

I zip tied my Victron to the battery hold down bracket on the passenger side battery, and there was plenty of clearance. The NoCo that I previously had there also cleared the hood, but follow safe practices, and slowly lower your hood and confirm clearance first!
If I ever had to remove the battery I'd just snip the zip ties and use new ones after installing the new battery.
So, rained last night and the passenger side fuse box cover has standing water on it, so prolly not the right spot for the charger. However, the driver side battery has a huge amount of open space on the side toward the radiator, on my 7.3 Gas. I could bolt through the plastic battery holder and add zip ties as well. Would be fairly easy to see settings as needed. Other than that, not sure where else other than on top of a battery as @JoeUser mentioned?

I mounted mine on the fuse box (using industrial velcro) on the passenger side right behind the battery. That made it easy to connect the battery and run the remote plug wiring along the side down to the front bumper. No issues with mounting it with the velcro either, its stayed put for over 3 years now.
