Battery tenders
I'm looking to add one to my truck since it isn't driven daily.
What do you recommend?
I'm looking for something that can mounted under the hood, hooked up to the batteries and plug in. I'd also prefer to have a cord long enough that the hood doesn't need to be opened for it to be plugged in.

"Battery tender" is one of the most abused description in the industry. It can mean everything and nothing, so read the description carefully.
What you need is a charger with floating circuit, or "battery maintainer"
I've been using those from HF for decades. They do fail occasionally, so monitoring couple times a month is recommended.
They come with alligator clip, but shouldn't be too difficult to hardwire them, or put cigarette lighter connector.
