Finally getting back to my truck. The throttle linkage firewall mount had broken, I picked one up from ebay but it needs replacement bushings. I need the bushings for the mount and the pivot circled in the pic in green. The one is listed a 9A763 but don't see the others listed.
Does anyone know where I can get these? I have called all the usual suspects but no one seems to list them. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
If the bushings are really thin and you need to make them from ones you can find that are close in size buy 3 or 4 of that size as you may FUBAR a few before you make good ones.
Dont ask how I know this
Dave ----
I dont know if you will be able to find any like the thin bushing above the "bottles" as they were the type I had to make NOT FUN
If you are not going for a 100 point show truck you might want to look into the later throttle pedals that use a cable.
Find a v8 truck and get the pedal, it bolt to the floor / firewall, the cable may need to look at 300 six as I think they might be longer, and the throttle bracket for the carb.
The old linkage type if a motor mount went bad and the motor rocked it would give more throttle and keep it locked till the clutch was pushed in.
Cables dont do that.

Keeping the linkage is my preference. I don't like the cable set-ups. I can 3d print one if I can't find one to replace it with.
Again, thanks for the input and suggestions.
I don't know how I missed this thread.
The 3D581 was part number C4VY3D581A. Two places show them. Green sales 800-543-4959 (14) and RPN Parts 888-864-9305 (2).
The 9a763 was part number C7TZ9A763A. I don't see any left out there. The 9725 was the whole accelerator assembly. Ford never carried that bracket or it's pivot bushing separate. It was part number C7TZ9725AC. No N.O.S. ones out there that I see.
Good luck Buddy.
Thanks for checking. It is the 9a763 that I was looking to replace. I still have most of one so will be taking it around to see what I can find that is 'close enough' to work hopefully.
The only reason Ford went to cable throttles in the 80-98+'s is that they were very cheap to make compared to stamped rods. The same with the crappy cable door pulls that stretch and you can't open the door. Ford just went El-Cheapo for the 80-81's. The dents did away with the trapeze system also.
