Throttle linkage
Has anyone successfully repaired the crazy "trapeze" throttle linkage by installing bronze or nylon bushings?

The bushings were not available by themselves, you had to replace the whole enchilada.
I don't know if you could replace the bushings, even if you could find some that would work.

It doesn't have bushings originally, I'm talking retrofitting new ones. It's definitely do-able.

I don't see why it couldn't be done. It's the same idea as installing bushings on the carb plate rods. You would just have to find, or make the brass/bronze bushings. Then enlarge the holes in the brackets to accept the bushings. If you're set on keeping the original linkage, it could be done.

I think I'll tackle it since I can't seem to find a new one for a 302.

When the 2nd digit of the prefix is a zero, it can also be typed as the letter O, but...
All of the above are listed as D
0 TZ .. Usually you can find more parts with the letter O.
