Fuel gauge not working after speed sensor replacement
2002 F250 V10
Hello and thanks in advance for your help.
Yellow check engine light came on, code showed a speed sensor was needed. Mechanic replaced speed sensor, but when I got it back the fuel gauge now does not work and gas pump icon lit up.
I asked mechanic if possible something got bumped during sensor replacement, he said “no”, that problem is inside fuel tank. I think mechanic is very competent, but it just seems very coincidental. Hubby checked fuses…all ok.
