egg smell

Good Evening

I have a y2k f250 4x4 v10 auto.it has about 3,000 miles on her,after the the beast warms up,I get an egg smell coming from the exhaust,I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem with their beast?

egg smell

Its the gas you're buying -- has a high sulfer content. Run a tank or two of a different brand and its likely to go away.

It may be egg!

My wife worked for GM in the 70's and told me about line workers depositing sandwiches, cans, marbles, etc. because of anger towards boss, company, or who knows what.

Just a thought.

I know your truck is new but, a bad O2 sensor will give you that same condition.

Like KPayne suggested, run a few more tanks of fuel. If it still persist check your O2 sensor. Do you have a check engine light?
