Engine has a stumble around 45-50 mph 1800-2000rpm range. But cleans out when accelerating. Has a slight hesitation. The PCM is also 30yrs old and I was thinking that it probably wouldn’t hurt having it tested and capacitors replaced.
how were you able to tell the capacitors were no good? Is there a way to test them in the board?
I simply had replaced everything else chasing the bad miss / stumble my van had
The processor was the last thing to check so I checked it
When I saw no obvious damage, I freaked out some but ordered another processor anyway
Put it in, and have been very happy since

I'm all for making sure, heck I'm a firm believer in spare ECUs & ignition/control parts, etc.
