Multiple codes after replacing PCM
Hi, I know this is a truck forum, but my 2005 Taurus has multiple error codes and can't find answers elsewhere. New programmed and installed PCM, but now running in Limp Mode with these errors: p0446, p0102, p0135,p0141,p0155,p0161,p0743,p0750,p0755,p0760. I unhooked the battery and reset it and p0645,p0731,p0734,p0753,p0758 and p1000 are no longer showing in the scan. Car starts good, but revs really high between 4 and 5 and doesn't go over 50 mph also never shifts into another gear. It is a rebuilt engine with approx 50,000 mile and the tranny was replaced last sept. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope one of you knowledgeable folks can help

My SWAG is that the PCM isn't compatible with that car.
SWAG = Silly Wild A Guess. There isn't enough information in this post to get any more specific. Things like what part number does each PCM have? Is it a new PCM, rebuilt, or used? Why did you replace the PCM?

Sorry it's a New OEM engine computer programmed with keys for my Ford Taurus 5F1A-12A650-GD//GFS3 for VIN #1FAFP-3U15A306956. The old one was a used one and programmed at a Ford dealer...car after 100 days died it would start but only when I kept accelerator pressed...once i took foot off car stalled, so when scanned it gave p1633 error code...so guy who's been doing the work replaced old/used OEM with new one.
