Nope, doesn't exist. I looked at the Valvoline website. They show a DEX/MERC fluid, but nothing called MERCON. DEX/MERC might be the same as MERCON, but since there is no spec for DEX/MERC it literally can be ANYTHING in that bottle. They can sell whatever they wish to sell and say it is for use where MERCON was specified. How well do you trust big corporations to put your needs ahead of their profits?
Let me repeat what I've been saying for 18 years now. Nobody has made MERCON since 2006. MERCON V replaced MERCON. Get over it.

ok it works I'm going to replace it with mercon v so however I put this oil several times, I didn't think they could put anything else in it, yet these are big sites.
should I empty everything and rinse with mercon v?

Butcher, my man, I think you've been around the block long enough to know by now that we are not "moving forward" until fiat currency is a thing of the past. 30+ trillion in debt? Collusion between corporations and "government"? ..... but yea.....transmission fluid and such.
