Good morning
I'm trying to figure out how to upgrade my e4od gearbox. (Manual Ford).
I can't find anything on it, except that the cold level should be between the two circles and the hot level in the hatched area but no exact temperature, so no correct measurement.

the fluid has already been replaced recently.
thank you for the temperature, I will look at my level at 150°f, so when cold I should be between the bottom 2 holes?

Not even close. Those that have a transmission temp gauge will attest to that. The E4OD takes a lot of oil. I think, I would have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to 150F. Outside temps and coolers matter so there is no way to say for certain without a gauge of some sort. A quick IR temp gun would be very simple to see what the pan temp is.
