Is it worth replacing the OEM with an upgrade like Bilstein?
I know on my 15 with 100k it made a huge difference

some people will say no but I changed mine before the first tank of fuel was gone and I noticed it was more planted going over big bumps.

Stock shocks are pure junk. Hell my daily driver **** box I have upgraded struts and shocks on to make it a better ride.

I did at 10k. I immediately noticed a difference. It didn't knock my socks off, but they made an improvement that I was happy about. I did not regret my decision.

Replace mine at 20k it made a difference not night and day but noticeable .

Well, after doing my maintenance routine this week on my truck, checking the suspension since it has been riding harshly last couple of weeks, I found a wet shock.
They are originals with ONLY 169251 miles on them.
I can't afford Bilstein's right now, maybe next change, so I went with Rancho's with a discount code.
I believe Rancho is made by Gabriel, not the best shocks, I know, but best I can afford right now.

Putting Fox 2.0 on a new (couple thousand miles) 2019 f250 with HD front springs made a noticeable performance difference.

I think the Rancho RS7MT has been the smoothest shock I have ran on an F250. All typical crew cabs.

If you don’t drive off pavement and the OE shocks have 30k miles or less, I doubt you’ll notice any difference.

I like the new Rancho (Black) mono tube RS7MT’s better on Ford SD’s (solid front axle) than the Bilstein’s. I believe the Rancho’s are a little softer riding than the Bilstein’s.
