So this is a 4wd Powerstroke Ex. I know these are electric but the hole is in the floor factory and even the screw holes for the boot are there. My question is is this adjustable? It's in the most forward position right now and is clear it won't have enough travel. The trans is a truck trans obviously but I can't believe it would be this far off. Engine is in the correct spot and factory Ex drivelines front and rear. Any thoughts, do they make different shift levers?
It's not fitting in the opening, the lever is all the way forward. When I pull it back it will hit the body. I looked under my buddies truck and his is centered in that hole.
That eBay link is for a conversion kit that makes the electronic shift NP273 into a manual shift (its an import knockoff of the wild horse manufacturing kit). From the picture above , it looks like you already have a manual shifting NP271 transfer case, so that eBay kit thing will do you no good.

that is exactly what I have, the transfer case came out of a 2003 f350. I didn't want an electric shift, my Ex was originally a 2000 5.4 2wd. I figured the shifter would be in the same spot as the truck though. All the drivelines are out of a 2002 Ex and they all fit correctly, as does the fan to shroud
