Clark Trans ID?

Hi all,

Bought this transmission and trying to get an ID on it. Researching 1940’s Clark transmissions is getting me absolutely nowhere since all I’m finding is 385’s.

204 VO?
205 VO?

anyone have specs or info?

Got lucky on an old eBay page. 204VO?

my man, thank you! I’m assuming the rebuild manual for a ~‘50 big truck would have a rebuild manual for this Trans in it?

I'll have to see if/what books have information on a rebuild process...

The 49-51 Ford Truck Shop Manual Form 7099-A dated April 1951 has ~6 pages on rebuilding the transmission. It is really no better than the sections in TM9-821 (https://archive.org/download/Tm9-821...9_821_1943.pdf ). However, I think you really want TM9-1801, and I haven't been able to find that anywhere except for the kludgey scribd preview: https://www.scribd.com/document/7084...in-Chassis-GMC

Then there is this Ford Exploded diagram with group (not part) numbers:
