Electrical Issues

Recently replaced my alternator it has 3 prongs however the plug on the truck side only has 2 wires. (Part number was confirmed with the vin) Yesterday the a/c started blowing warm system was replaced a few years ago. Than at night the airbag light was dimly illuminating on and off. Today the truck has no issues and a/c is cold. Not sure where to start trying to figure this out.

thanks

What were you doing when the AC went warm? I ask because the PCM has final say in AC function. If it sees something it doesn't like it will disengage the compressor clutch to protect the engine. The two triggers I'm aware of for the PCM to shutdown AC is engine overheating and hard acceleration/high rpm. I've seen it happen in a friends truck without the temp gauge even showing a rise. Don't know if this if applicable to your troubles, but thought it worth throwing out there.
