Just checked, it updated with no option to go back. Now the app is nearly useless. No vehicle information such as miles, fuel level, oil life, tire pressures, none of it. I also don't see any way to add service records.
I use my dashboard to see that kind of stuff. Better than driving down the road looking at an app.....

Bizarre assumption...didn't occur to you that I would be checking that info from the comfort of my home? I also don't add service records while driving.
Someone here mentioned it was in the user agreement on the latest update at that time. I went back through it and sure enough, by agreeing to use app, it allowed sending data (speeds, driving habits, location, mileage, braking, etc) to 3rd parties including insurance. And the fact my insurance (Nationwide) called was further proof.
I just got my truck last week and am still learning stuff on it. I don’t see the owner’s manual in the App anymore. Frustrating. It was nice to look through features and settings on my phone without having to use the one loaded on the truck.

You can also download the owners manual to your phone, although having it accessible through the app would be better than not. At least for now, I'm seeing the vehicle information that's been removed from the app is still visible on the Ford owners website. It also still facilitates adding service records through the website. They should have left all that in the app.
I use the new ford pass for remote start as mentioned. It's a hit/miss if it works, have to reboot my iPhone at least a 1/3 of the time then it works as advertised.
It gave me the option to revert back last time I used it, which I did, and left feedback on the new version. I really hope it didn't auto update and remove the ability to use the old version (find out in a couple minutes). The new version appears to be lacking details and information that the previous version did include.

It’s all there. Click on service lower right then on vehicle health.
Mine updated as well. No option to revert back. Looks like everything is still there just and different places. Also what has been said about service records appears to be correct, option to see but not add them. New app sucks.

"If your vehicle has connectivity technology (e.g. FordPass Connect or Lincoln Way modem or a Connectivity Device) and you connect your vehicle to your FordPass account, your vehicle will share Connected Vehicle Information (e.g. Vehicle Location and Driving Data) with Ford. Deleting or uninstalling FordPass from your device will not disable data sharing."

Correct but deleting your FordPass account on the Ford website followed by a Sync master reset will stop it. It was even in the disclaimer when I was asked if I was sure I wanted to delete my account. "In order to stop data sharing, you must perform a master reset of the Sync system in your vehicle " Something like those words. Once everything was done the 2 arrow data share icon next to the emergency icon was gone.
Essentially it's the same procedure used to clear the system when you sell the vehicle. And it obviously worked because my Nationwide rep called and asked if I still had the truck. Then said I should consider re-installing it before my rates go up. That is why I have Farm Bureau now.
The new app has all the features the old app had for me including service records.
Also some of the replies in this thread are... ...something. Wow.
I dont think anyone said the service records are gone. Multiple users, including myself, have said the ability to upload service records is gone. If that’s not the case please post up where that feature has moved. The other thing mentioned was acces to the owners manual. That and warranty information was accessible through the Fordpass app, is it still?
