Grab the carb and see if its loose between the base plate and the main part of the carb.
They had problems with the screws coming loose.
Wont stay running? Engine warm or cold?
The black plastic choke thermostat should have a line cut in the edge of it that should line up where the arroe=w is poiting.
Loosen the three screws holding the cap and rotate it until they do.
The cam might have richer and leaner on it with arrows pointing witch direction.
This may be the problem if it wont stay running when the engine is cold.
That's what I messed up, the choke thermostat. I also messed around with the throttle stop screw. So, I don't know how it should look when starting from cold. The truck used to run great with this carburetor. I don't know why I did what I did. Sometimes I am stupid. Thanks for the help.
