Only a fool would dispute the fact there is a supreme being, and only someone who has no idea would suggest that his name is anything but God.
I doubt there is a supreme being. God is all make believe, and you are too foolish to "realize" it.
When I am lying on my death bed, I will hopefully have my kids and wife there to support me, not praying to some made up story about a god and his kid jesus.
Hey Cyclops..Firstly, I didn't directly call you a fool, but if the shoe fits ...wear it. May be that you need to re-read the post. There will be no retraction from this end when it pertains to believing in a living God.
I am so utterly let down by these two "believer" replies I am just about speechless.
The only think I can think of to say is to offer my condolences to the sincere believers in God Almighty on this board and around the globe for the behavior of these individuals.

4rdsrock, thank you.
But I have a question. You say "You get a relationship with him when you accept into your heart.", but I have to ask you; is that not completely BACKWARDS of the way human relationships are formed?
Following your theory, would this not be a parallel thought:
"Fall in love with someone - totally believe in them. THEN you will get to know them."

Getting a little personal in a friendly discussion I think.
I trust my alarm clock to get me up because it is a tangible item that is mechanical in nature. Faith it will work, is built on TANGIBLE EVIDENCE and PROVEN HISTORY.
The point was that if you can put faith into a thing you don't understand then why not expand on that a bit and try to think about our existence as not being an accident or an anomaly in the universe.
Oh, and faith, when fact could be had, is NOT usually a good thing either.
This is true when faith is not in GOD.
So far in NONE of these threads has a shred of TANGIBLE PROOF either way been uncovered.
If your heart is open and you seek him Jesus promised you can find him. As I alluded to in a previous post it is a choice that will have an affect on eternity.

Seabisquit, you are not helping with statements like this. Can you help us out by taking a more understanding approach? This can be taken as an insult.
You catch more flies with honey you know..........

You can go and check the references for yourself and make up your own mind.

I'll do that, just thought that maybe you might have been presenting something that said humans and dino's existed at the same time and I hadn't heard it. That would have blown away another scientific theory and I enjoy seeing it happen, meaning they, (the scientists) are so few trying to undo what a couple billion believers believe.
