I just replaced the oil lines, and one of fuel lines I just get to it the one drivers side. I can't reach the nut of the IPR I'm afraid I will get if off but not back on, the old IPR is working. I made new pigtails, connectors, and wrapped the harness on the passenger side. The truck started, and now it's home. I never found a bare spot on any the glow plug wires, but the only wires that looked hot/melted were the hot coil wire for glow-plug relay, hot wire fuel bowl heater, and hot wire to the IPR. The short looks likes it shorted to the clamp on the oil line melting off, into the braid of the line feeding the fire. I think I'm going to build my own separate glow-plug harness.
Thanks for all of you're ideas, and help.
