The new Cyclops Theft Avoidance Module and Disklok
After 14 years my old Cyclops was giving me problems, didn't always work and the key fob battery was going dead really quick. I finally ordered a new one and was pleased to see that the new one gives you 2 key fobs and the option to program them for manual use where you have to press the button, or proximity like on newer cars where it just needs to be in proximity to the module and sense motion. Since the relay on my 2002 goes in the fuse box under the steering column this works great and was a welcome upgrade. Be sure to buy it directly from Vandal Alert for $149, other sites are charging over $200. I am not affiliated with them, just a happy customer for 14 years now. Just another layer of security for those like me who are determined to hold onto their truck forever.
Those of you who have to park in a risky area might also consider a Disklok, I use one when I have to park overnight at a hotel or any other time I am parked for any amount of time where I can't see my truck. In addition to locking the steering wheel it also makes it nearly impossible to access the ignition lock. It also fits my Jeep so I get double use from it.

Can you please show us this?
I checked the Disklok website, and their product photos are from the same angle as yours, none of which show how the Disklok limits access to the ignition lock cylinder, which is a "key" (haha) vulnerability in these trucks.
I have three of these that I swap from vehicle to vehicle (as I have vehicles for different seasons) and I think they are FANTASTIC.
One suggestion I will make though:
Spend a little bit of time and remove the original cover from the Cyclops relay and an original Ford relay and swap them. There is nothing more obvious to a non-starting truck than one relay that looks different than the others.

Maybe I should have said "nearly impossible for an old guy". What it does is prevent access thru the steering wheel spoke, and prevents visibility from the driver's position but a young, thin thief could slide over a bit and lean down, still making it a PITA to work behind the overhanging Disklok but not impossible, then the Disklok would still need to be dealt within order to steer. Additional ears could be tacked onto the disklok but would make it more cumbersome to store and install.

That's a good idea, I did notice the difference in that relay.
You'll have to use a small pick/flat screwdriver and likely a razor blade to get the plastic cover off - but it DOES come off. There is a small tab inside the factory Ford relay that has to be broken/filed off to get the Cyclops relay inserted into the cover in the correct "clocked" position (so it matches the other relays in the junction/fuse box) and then a dab of epoxy finishes the deal.

Son! You live in Montana! I thought all the crooks went to the train station!
Oh it just came to me, you need to slap a couple drone motors and crazy lights on that thing and go fly it around town. See if you can make the local news for UFO sightings.
