I have a 1985 F150 wheel drive with 302 in it I got to truck given to me and I paid for the gas it took ti get to Alabama will now all of a sudden i don't have any power at all past the Syllanoid and I have racked my brain checking things like signal wire to starter ,good ground everything like that and I just don't know anymore iam lost at this point can anyone point me in the right direction if so I would really appreciate it
What was done just before this "no power" happened?
What is meant by no power? Key on do you get dash lights?
Do the head lights / tail lights work if turned on?
Or your no power is you have dash lights, head & tail lights but when you turn the key to start you get nothing.

Yes, you are lost. There are no signal wires to the starter. There are signal wires to the solenoid on the fender, and then it sends power to the starter. What are you using to test for power? A test light is the simplest and easy to use.
Some punctuation in your posts would be nice as well. Trying to figure out what you're saying, on a forum site, is hard enough with punctuation. Leaving it out just makes it that much more difficult. Thanks.
