86 brake proportion valve reset

Is it possible to reset the stock proportion vavle. new rear brake lines and hardware. barely getting any fluid to the rear wheels?

How to reset brake proportioning valve f150?
Press the brake pedal three times, with even, gentle pressure, until the pedal is applied as far as it can go. That should recenter the valve and your proportioning valve reset will be complete. If the valve still does not reset, open one bleeder on the side of the valve that IS getting brake fluid.

The only thing you are doing when you reset the proportioning valve is getting the brake light to turn off. It will not restrict the fluid. Unless it's clogged with rust.

Thanks for that, I was wondering about why he would want to do that.
