brake problems
1991 f150 sat for many yrs, brake proportioning valve #f8tz2b373jrm corroded and not allowing brake fluid to rear. ford does not carry any more unable to find rebuild kit or part. is there a valve cross ref . several similar valves out there can only think diff in part # is due to truck weight. can any one help me.

Comes up Anti lock valve/motor, you can simply bypass it if you wish to. If you need/rely on anti lock function then probably better off if you don't.
Proportioning valve is or should be up on the master cylinder, a small metal cartridge looking device (don't have an image handy) in place between the M/C rear brake line port and rear brake line. It limits fluid flow to rear wheels.
