2018 super duty strange electrical issue.

Do you make a habit of telling the truck that the trailer is no longer attached? Especially for the issues popping up without the trailer in tow. Go to your trailer settings and "select" a trailer. Scroll to "No active trailer." when you detach. I used my little farm trailer this weekend and had some weird messages pop up on my screen the following day, and dash kept defaulting to trailer display dash. I think "No active trailer" returned her to normal.

Well, I want to provide an update in case anyone else has the same issue. I dropped it off at Ford and they said I had water in a tail light which was causing a short. Replaced the tail light and all the issues prior have gone away. Now my cruise control does not work and I have a wrench light on my dash. More to come…

Still having issues. Dealer can’t figure it out. They said there are so many error codes they need to check every single connection on the truck. I did figure out the solve….picking up a 24 lariat on Friday. lol
