i need help! i have owned a 2003 ford Excursion for over two years now. i finally got a tuner to monitor the engine (Bully dog GT tuner), i plugged in the tuner and started installing it, part way of the install, i accidentally unplugged the tuner part way into the upload, now my SUV wont start, not even a crank, i have a anti-theft code 16 and a few other code on the scanner.
codes:
U1059- standard communication protocol (J1850) Invalid or missing data for transmission/ transaxle/ park reverse neutral drive low
U1073- standard communication Protocol (J1850) invalid or missing data for engine coolant
U1058
U1262- standard communication protocol communication bus malfunction
U1027- standard communication protocol (J1850 invalid or missing data for engine RPM
B1352- Ignition Key-in Circuit malfunction
I live kinda remote and non of the local mech. will work on 6.0L for some reason. Any information that could help me get this thing back on the road would be greatly appreciated.
I had a similar situation recently with my SCT tuner where there was an upload failure midway and it triggered the Theft light. All I did was the shut everything off, pulled the keys out and restarted the process after a few minutes. This time it went to success. You could also disconnect both batteries and wait for a bit to see if things reset. This may/not help you.
I agree with Baylinerchuck -- sounds like you "Bricked" the PCM --- will require a reflash of factory microcode and calibration files with IDS or FJDS.
