I'm trying to install rear bilstein 5100 in my 2014 navigator l.
I need to swap spring holder over from my original shocks but they are alot bigger diameter. They still have fomoco stickers on them so I can assume that they are oem.
What part number did you get. I've never used bilsteins on this platform, but I've never had a problem with them on other applications. They're too big with the circlip in place and go over it?
Alright. Keep in mind you may run into the same issue still. Do you have the HD trailer tow? I can't remember if they did it by the 2014 MY but at some point they ditched the air suspension and went to Nivomat load leveling shocks which typically have a bigger body. Catalog still shows it but I don't know why the shock body would be that large otherwise.
