Shock advice
Went down and got all new shocks for my 87 F-150 4X4 today, but had to do a mixed set.
Got the Monroe Reflex for the Quad shock set up on the front, but had to get Monroe Magnums for the rear because none of the O'Reilly stores had the rear Reflex in stock.
My question is, should I swap the Magnums out for Reflex or just use the Magnums ?
Most of usage on this truck will be lite, but occasionally will be hauling a 2 horse trailer with 2 horses !

If it drives ok and hauls loads ok I'd leave it as is since you've already spent the money. Unless the handling feels like it could get dangerous I'd leave it alone.
Sure there's better shocks if you have an unlimited income but many of us don't.

I'm looking into new shocks...Mine aren't busted/leaking....the rear ones are yellow, an the front are blue....so someones replaced them...
But my issue is, that they are VERY soft.....

I have the Monroe Gas Magnums and like them alot. I would just leave them in the rear. I think they are more heavy duty than the reflex series.
I have had Rancho shocks in both RS5000 and RSX form and didn't care for either. The
5000s suck and the RSX is way too stiff.
