Auto stop/shutoff
2023 F150 Lariat
Not sure what its called but the setting that shuts truck off at every stop light?
I read a thread but cant find it again , is there a way to shut this off without pushing button everytime you start it?
A wire to unplug under the hood?

Plug in a cheap night light in your 120v outlet and tape/paint over the light sensor so its on all the time. If Ford kept the same programing, the computer sees the inverter draw and keeps the engine running to maintain voltage. I did that with a Ranger I owned a few years ago.

My auto stop rarely ever works.
Stupid energy hungry beast.
I don't run my truck every day, and seldom more than 79-80km at any one time.
So my battery is perpetually down unless I plug it into a charger which is not convenient to say the least.

The auto stop thing is the first to be disabled when the battery is down.
Battery was thoroughly tested at dealer, apparently it's just the way it is.🙁
