I have not used this product but from what I have heard it works well to convert rusted surfaces in prep for paint. I use bedliner to coat all the underside surfaces that may come in contact with road debris. I prefer Raptor and have found it easy to apply with various textures. Bedliner does not work well with rusty surfaces so maybe the reform and seal would be a good primer to use.
Thanks for the info, I'll check out Raptor ..... trying to stay away from the thick bedliner products.
I have thinned the Raptor and sprayed it through my primer gun to get a final finish that looked like leather...all the coverage/durability of a catalyzed bedliner without the look of concrete.
I was just about to say I used the Dupli Color roll on bed liner on my 67 IH Scout about 30 years ago and it's held up pretty well- I did the floor and rear deck- I'm thinking of going with Rhino Liner or maybe Line-x on my 2023 F-150 (Yup rust already forming) I'm up here in Northern Utah and sometimes the winter and road salt are pretty bad. I'm too old to be doing all the prep work and being on my back to do a proper job of undercoating.
