[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Jan-02 AT 07:03 AM (EST)]2000 X Limited V10 4X4, Can someone tell me how to remove the rear door panel without damaging it. I have not yet purchased a repair manual. Hey Monsta maybe this is a good time to check out your new CD that you bought on E-Bay.
Thanks in advance.
Removing them is pretty straight forward. Start on top, inside part of the panel. Use a WIDE flat device to pull back the panel enough to get your fingers under, and pull. They are "push to fit" panels. There are about 7-9 plastic push pins thingies that hold it onto the door. Just be careful. Only exert pressure at a point closest to the pin you're trying to remove. What I'm saying is DON'T grab one end and just yank the whole thing off. You'll see once you get the first off, using care, it's pretty easy.
Why you removing them? Are you putting the optional storage bin ones on there?
Thank you Monsta for the reply. I am removing them because the power door lock actuator needs to be replaced. The truck just went off warranty about 1,000 miles ago so I figured I would tackle this job myself.

HEY I told you how to remove the rear CARGO door panel. NOT the rear door. OOPS! I'm sorry!! Re-post or e-mail me and I will send you the instructions. Crap...hope you didn't already try to do it.
Thanks Monsta for the reply. I have not tried to remove the door panel yet. I'm sorry that I wasn't clear enough in my original question. I should have said the rear passenger door to make it more clear.
