Supercab opening side windows

I have a 78 F250 4 X 4 Super-cab with the Dana 60's front and rear. It has the NON-opening side windows. I have found a set of opening ones in a pick n pull. I have not even looked at them yet. I have a couple of questions.
1. What tools will I need to remove the hinges, latch and weatherstrip?
2. Are they just bolt in to my truck OR is there any modification I have to do to get them to fit?
3. Are new rubber seals available?
Thanks in advance! Bruce

When we talked earlier, I said I had an alternate source for the latches...73-77 Maverick and here is a SC glass diagram also.

You know I also said that latch can be brittle. And this sort of shows how the outer latch anchor comes apart. And out of the body.

Dennis Carpenter has the plastic holders for the hinge side and they have the rubber gaskets. I did the same thing you are doing and I pried out the plastic hinge pieces and broke them. They have plastic spring clips that once they are pushed down in the cutouts they click into place. I suppose you would have to figure out how to reach up in there and release them. I just went ahead and pried till they broke and ordered new from DC. when you remove your existing window with gasket you will see the slotted holes for the opening window.

Unscrew the latch from inside the truck and open the window 4”. Wiggle the hinges up and down wile pulling slightly and they will come out. The plastic body inserts are attached to the hinges, if they break, they are available new. The weatherstrip, be gentle, it is soft foam. You can use a putty knife where they’re glued.

Thanks, I probably would not have taken a putty knife. I will now.

Thanks for the help!!!! Got the windows out, one of the frames was coming apart( I can handle that). Ordered hinges and rubber seals last night.
Question is-----A couple of the metal tabs the hinges go on wiggle back and forth. The other two are solid (i.e. doesn't move at all). Are they all supposed to be solid?
Doesn't move at all?????
Thanks for all the help!
One more question. It will be a while before I get to installing these in my truck. Are the hinge holes already in the cab on a non-opening window?
Thanks again, Bruce

The hinge holes are there and ready for install. I believe the metal portion of the hinge is supposed to move, though not much.

Thanks Brotruck. When I pull the one frame apart to clean and repair. I'll check to see if any weld or rivet is broken.
