if OP wants to waste his money and have some TV mall crawler fabricator make “his ruck slammed to the ground”, have at it.
what he needs is a professional outfit that is certified and experienced in making mobility conversions, not some random group of people who make truck version of donks
what I came in here looking for was suggestions for a solution to a problem. I already talked to the companies that do accessible conversions. They either have no solutions or solutions that cost more than the truck. I’m an adult who is perfectly capable of making my own decisions. You haven’t offered a single helpful suggestion and chosen instead to belittle and criticize everyone else. I bet you’re a joy at parties.

it is for him. When you have the type of negative, know-it-all personality he has it’s harder than you’d think.
I don’t think you have an easy solution to lower a super duty that much but it doesn’t hurt to get every option you can to make a decision and I do wish you luck.
if at the end of the day you don’t find a cost effective and suitable modification you can at least say you explored every avenue.
how are you using the truck currently? Does it work but it’s just difficult? Is the truck unusable?
You can go with a 30" tire and a 17" wheel, adjust air pressures down to get some more ride quality. theres your 2" of drop, now the other 4".... you could start cutting coils out of the front springs and see where you land. This is better than heating the coils and letting it settle. It's still not ideal lol. I think 4" of drop is attainable no problem if youre ok with red neck options. The rear is easier to figure out. remove block, drop shackles, shorter shock.

that’s why I’m here to try to explore what options there are. If it can’t be done so be it, I have other options. But I love this truck and want to make it work….safely and economically.

34 inch tires to 30 inch tires will only drop the truck 2 inches.
There are far too many jerks on here. People say stuff they’d never say in person. It’s really a shame because there is no more useful resource on Ford trucks as well as other FoMoCo products.
I hope the OP gets some help here from those that are in the know and truly want to help.

thanks. Yeah, there always seem to be keyboard warriors who are so unhappy with their lives they feel it necessary to crap on others’. No biggie though. I appreciate the creative and thoughtful input I have received.
I don't have a lot of knowledge on it but others have mentioned air bag systems.
I know my kids have a friend who shows up sometimes in a GMC with some fancy airbag system that drops way down or way up. I don't think it's very drivable at the lowest setting but the point is, you could have it drop all the way down to the bumps for entry/exit and raise it right back up to "normal" height to drive.

yeah, that’s kind of what I’m looking for if it’s doable. Thanks.
he said he’s an adult capable of making decisions. Most of us are. But that doesn’t mean we’re fully aware of all the options.
group think is a wonderful thing and more powerful than one mind thinking up a solution. Some people will have awareness and knowledge of things other may have never been exposed to. So he’s looking for options he might not have thought of so he can then make his own decision.
Sometimes you can sit and wonder what’s wrong with the world and then it’s obvious…
