Wolf - Ok, I’m interested

I am not a fan of electric vehicles yet. For lots of reasons. But I have to admit Wolf has my attention. Relatively simple. Not overly complicated. And priced within the realm of reasonableness. Kind of.

No, it is not a dentside. But there are some similar practicalities in approach to our trucks. Interested to see how consumers respond.

Neat concept but that design won’t meet US standards. There are no front markers/turn signals visible from the side.

I think as a new company they should focus on 1 or 2 models and actually get them to production as opposed to 6+ concepts.

Pass, some concept vehicles should stay a concept. It looks like a old school Datsun and something fuggly got balled up into one sumthingorother. Now the one below has some coolness to it for obvious reasons.

The Eluminator is rad. No doubt. My point on Wolf is the contrarian approach to current expensive EVs and models that try too hard (eg - Cyber truck, Rivian). Wolf seems…. plain. Refreshingly so. I’d like to think there’s a market for simple and practical. Wolf does resemble a Datsun. There’s room for better aesthetics. But I’m still cheering for the concept.

Still not doing for me.
Now the Ford? If it just looked like an old Dent with the electric gear, that might be cool. I hate restomods.
If I was gonna buy an electric truck it’d be the Rivian. There are actually a few in my area but still don’t see how they make it work, my buddy can’t even make it from the city to my place with his Lightning with out going out of the way to charge.
Ive heard there are now companies making hybrids using the conventional drivetrain package.

Well, we all know change is here. ICE age may not end but market will be very different. I hope a company pulls through some of the dentside design principles into tomorrow’s trucks.

Electric vehicles need to go on away like a fart in the wind.
Batteries will never last as long as a gas powered ENGINE will last.
Gimme a 73 - 79 dent side with a TRUE engine that burns old dead dinosaurs....

Too many negatives for electric vehicles to EVER be practical.
Passing fad.... (I hope).

Did I see that all the new chargers were gonna be battery cars?

What a HUGE mess.

A lot of it is our demographics as members here. My guess is a lot of us live at least somewhat rural. Are older and maybe retired.
I have friends that live the in cities that love their EVs. HOV lane, priority parking, never go to a gas station (which might be in a bad part of town) some lucky ones even charge for free while at work.
If that was my lifestyle I’d certainly be interested.
Note almost all these people have an ICE for a weekend car.
