Transfer case stuck 4-low
1995 F250, Manual Case, Lock in Hubs. E4od
I stopped at a stop sign, and the truck would'nd move. (like neutral). When I put the truck in park the gears grinded. Later, I was able to get the truck home in 4 wheel drive. Now the truck is stuck in 4-low. The floor shifter will go thru all stages. When I put the shifter in 4x4 neutral the truck is still driveable.
So do you think its two seperate issues, the trans and case? I did not have it in 4 wheel prior to it "not moving" at the sign. Only after;
From readinig, I'm assume, the problem with the case, is either the linkage or more likely a bad fork, but I'm not sure because of the other issue. The PCM?
