Miles to Empty Reading Incorrectly

I have a 2018 Ford F-250 with 6.7 Powerstroke and I’m having issues with my miles to empty reading incorrectly. I have recently purchased and replaced the fuel sending unit, as it helped some in now reading that I have 479miles to instead of 330miles whenever I fuel up. But my gauge is still not marking up the Full mark on the gauge on the dash. The miles to empty also decrease rather quickly than the amount of miles driven. Does anyone know what the cause of this might be and know the solution to fix it?

Thank you!

Unless you drive the exact same way every day the DTE will fluctuate. If when I fill up I was averaging 13 MPG that previous tank, the new DTE will be based on that....at first. It then adjusts as I drive if there is a change to the average MPG, could go up or down.

If I drive all highway and average around 18 MPG, the next fill up will show a DTE in the high 500's right after fill up.
