Cool stuff! Just a little bummed, though, they didn't have the timers running. Would love to see the numbers on those runs.

Did he do those runs with a 3-speed on the column? that was fun to watch.

It got me thinking of what I could do in the F-2 with the rebuilt 226 and double clutching. I'd be I could get an easy 55 mph at the end of the track!

Yeah, he did lose it for a minute, fortunately he caught back up on his steering before anything bad happened.

("Got behind on his steering" was a phrase race car driver Ken Shrader used to say, which always made me chuckle, when describing someone losing it on the track and hitting the wall. )
