Crop Duster I have a 62 F100 Uniy I have a built C6 that I was going to put in a 65 Falcon but decided to put an AOD in it instead since I drive it more. The C6 will go in the F100 if I use the Lokar kickdown and the Lokar xmsn mount shifter? Thx

It should work as long as your truck had a floor shift, and you can remove the trans cover if not then you may need a floor mount. Be sure to get a shifter with a built-in neutral safety switch.

Update

Thanks for the input. The black shifting lever on the side was left on by the shop. It was put on backwards for their testing purposes. I was able to mod it to work. She shifts fine from park to drive. If I want 1 & 2, I need to lengthen the shifting arm on the steering column. I didn't change it because of the warranty.

[QUOTE=Lee'sFord;21222862]Thanks for the input. The black shifting lever on the side was left on by the shop. It was put on backwards for their testing purposes. BULL****! They screwed up.I was able to mod it to work. What does that mean? If you didn't remove it and turn it 180 degrees, it won't work. She shifts fine from park to drive. If I want 1 & 2, I need to lengthen the shifting arm on the steering column. No, you don't you need to fix the manual lever. I didn't change it because of the warranty. Warranty my foot, they are the ones that put the lever in backwards make them come and fix it.
