E4OD Stall only when plugged into computer but slams into reverse
Around the last week of December I left the truck parked for around a week, I turned it on ad let it warm up for 10-15 minutes put it in gear and stalls. No matter what gear it go in and stall immediately after. I looked it up found a thread and it said to disconnect the the connection on the passenger side. Now it didn't stall. I was a able to move to the place I wanted to work on it. I lifted the front end around a foot or so. I clean the IAC and Map sensor and plugged the tranny back in. Now it only stall in D21 but not in reverse. I then proceed to check for vacuum leaks found none, I cleaned the throttle body.
I left the tranny to be check last. I dropped the tranny oil pan found the no metal at all. Transmission oil is dark red but not burnt. Oil filter wasn't fallen off. I took out the shift solenoid out connector was wet with i'm assuming transmission oil not a lot but you could tell. I check the shift solenoid but putting a 12v current and checking each valve moving all worked as should and all test good with multi meter. yes break lights work and both fuel pumps work as well.
before all this the truck shifted fine in all gears.
I install Shift solenoid back today still stalls in all forward gears but now rpms drop in reverse and it slams into reverse also.
but it still goes into every gear while unplugged.
If you have any ideas on what it might it would be very helpful. I
