Mine looks pretty old and oxidized. I’d like to get one and have it cleaned and powder coated. It sure would look better in the engine bay. I could have mine done but it’s my daily driver.
Surely that part is shared with super duty, right?
That I'm not sure of. Mine has that semi cylindrical feature that looks to be designed to secure the upper radiator hose. You would think all 7.3 from 97 - 01 should have the same bracket. Could it be a part exclusive to the Excursion?
Where did you get the part number from? If the following post from FTE is correct, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...lete-part.html the part has been obsolete for at least 10 years. But he mentioned that he needs the lower right alternator bracket bearing your part number, someone offers one avail starting with F8TE, instead of F81Z, and he mentions that that is the dual alternator bracket. Whereas the 2 eBay listings show the same part, but neither listing references the same part number. Both eBay listings look to show the correct part...
Here is what I am learning here and please correct me if I’m wrong, but the Ford part number is F81Z10A313AA however there’s a number on the part from eBay is F8TE-10239-AB.
I don’t claim to be an expert but my experience has shown that Ford has their part numbers, in this case F81Z10A313AA would be the number Ford would provide.
The part number I question is F8TE-10239-AB. This number does not appear in the Ford parts dealer catalogs. Hence the question.
Of all the OEM parts I have purchased, installed or had installed, none of the Ford OEM parts have the actual part number on the part. They seem to have numbers that even Ford dealers don’t recognize. In this case F8TE-10239-AB.
In conclusion, the Ford OEM part number is (if I’m correct) F81Z10A313AA, and the number in the part is used by used parts dealers for easy identification and to confuse us, most likely unintentionally.

here is the original one from my excursion modified for the lee’s power steering pump setup, I had to cut the radiator hose holder part off and cut where the power steering pump mounts to the bracket
