Upper Ball Joints

I have an 2006 F150 4wd 4.6 Liter eng. Can you replace upper ball joints by just removing the ball joint ? the reason i ask is every video i watch shows replacing the whole arm. also there is not enough room to get the press in position to press them out, any help will be appreciated thanks

The ball joints are not replaceable. You have to replace the entire upper control arm.
