This maybe a dumb question but What’s the point of having an offset bracket, I bought this motor and tried to run and connect the radiator hoses with a stock chrome kit I bought but thanks to this bracket I cannot and it is in my way lol I’m thinking of buying a stock bracket and running the stock hose set up.
The offset bracket is used with multiple carburetion since the generator is long enough to hit the front carb in most cases. If you think you have room for it to go back to center, that's fine. If not, you could try to switch to an alternator and gain some room, too.
In my situation I have an alternator with a generator style but it’s shorter than a generator. With that being said if I get a stock bracket will it clear the carburetor….never mind I just saw that my alternator won’t fit 🙄🙄🙄
