Alternator bracket positioning

Hey guys in my autoshop we are working on a Ford 351M engine and we are having trouble putting on the alternator bracket. Also can anyone point me in the direction of some ford 351M manuals or diagrams because Ive searched all over the web and can't find much.

Here are some pix that might help, are you maybe trying to use the smog pump bracket
for the alternator?
